We are a small family business hiring out our 2 lovely caravans. As a family we have been coming to Skipsea Sands for over 65 years.
My Mum & Dad had three caravans, two on Southfield and one on Westfield. My Aunties and Uncles had their caravans on Northfield. I remember when there were bungalows at the top of the cliff and train carriages behind on the second row. There was a shop and amusements, this has all gone now! When I was a teenager I used to drink in the Kings and Queens pub and the Sportsman, this seems so long ago.
Top and bottom is, my family loved our holidays and we would like other people to make their own memories as we did.

We have had many caravan holidays over the years which more towards Filey area. We discovered this site thorough the UKcaravans4hire site. I'm not exaggerating when I say we've just had the best weeks holiday in a very long time. We have 3 kids and my in-law's also came away with us. The caravan was spacious for us all. Location is next to the sea/beach using an unofficial path down to it. Only a couple of minutes walk to the shops, arcades, restaurant, leisure facilities. The caravan is also in a very quiet location. Every morning on the veranda I could look out at the sea whilst sipping on a coffee. The NISA shop on site is a little pricey but there is a post office /shop in the village which is 2 minutes in a car and a lot cheaper, it has everything. Before arrival the owner organised our swim days and passes so there was no queues or disappointment and our week was already pre-planned before arrival. The extra of crazy golf and bowling are booked through reception. 12 minutes drive to Bridlington. There is also a cracking beach near the site (Fraisthorpe) which is less than 10 minutes in a car (£5 all day parking) it has a CAFE and toilets on site. Me and my lads walked down the beach to Bridlington. We also went to Bridlington Animal Park which is also a short drive. On the only day we had bad weather we went to the sweet factory which has a huge soft play area and a huge sweet shop to keep the kids entertained. All the staff on site are very friendly and welcoming. It felt we'd done so much in such a short time. We will definitely be going again. Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful time relaxing and exploring the Yorkshire coastline. The caravan is perfectly situated between Hornsea and Bridlington for days out. The caravan itself was spotless and the service is excellent from the owners We will definitely be returning soon.

As soon as we walked in to the caravan we noticed how clean and tidy it was and fully equipped, even dish cloth, tea towel and toilet roll supplied, in other caravans we have had to take our own. Anyone wanting a relaxing break away it’s perfect. We will definitely be going again, thank you.

We have just returned from a fantastic week away with the kids and in-laws. It was our puppy's first trip too and he was in his element with the beach. The van was spotless you wouldn’t even know it was a pet friendly van as you could not tell pets had been there it was so clean. The van had everything we needed and plenty of space for all the clothes etc. The location is perfect, nice quiet area literally 3 minutes walk from the complex and a 2 minute walk to the beach steps. The kids loved the van the DVD’s, playstation and boardgames in hand were perfect for the 1 day where it rained. Carol has been so helpful throughout booking and with any questions I had before and during our stay. Thanks again!
