We are a small family business hiring out our 2 lovely caravans. As a family we have been coming to Skipsea Sands for over 65 years.
My Mum & Dad had three caravans, two on Southfield and one on Westfield. My Aunties and Uncles had their caravans on Northfield. I remember when there were bungalows at the top of the cliff and train carriages behind on the second row. There was a shop and amusements, this has all gone now! When I was a teenager I used to drink in the Kings and Queens pub and the Sportsman, this seems so long ago.
Top and bottom is, my family loved our holidays and we would like other people to make their own memories as we did.

We have had many caravan holidays over the years which more towards Filey area. We discovered this site thorough the UKcaravans4hire site. I'm not exaggerating when I say we've just had the best weeks holiday in a very long time. We have 3 kids and my in-law's also came away with us. The caravan was spacious for us all. Location is next to the sea/beach using an unofficial path down to it. Only a couple of minutes walk to the shops, arcades, restaurant, leisure facilities. The caravan is also in a very quiet location. Every morning on the veranda I could look out at the sea whilst sipping on a coffee. The NISA shop on site is a little pricey but there is a post office /shop in the village which is 2 minutes in a car and a lot cheaper, it has everything. Before arrival the owner organised our swim days and passes so there was no queues or disappointment and our week was already pre-planned before arrival. The extra of crazy golf and bowling are booked through reception. 12 minutes drive to Bridlington. There is also a cracking beach near the site (Fraisthorpe) which is less than 10 minutes in a car (£5 all day parking) it has a CAFE and toilets on site. Me and my lads walked down the beach to Bridlington. We also went to Bridlington Animal Park which is also a short drive. On the only day we had bad weather we went to the sweet factory which has a huge soft play area and a huge sweet shop to keep the kids entertained. All the staff on site are very friendly and welcoming. It felt we'd done so much in such a short time. We will definitely be going again. Highly recommended.

We had a great stay at lears leisure caravan and what a beautiful homely, clean caravan it is. Nicely done out, you have everything possible you could think of for what you need from cleaning utensils to ironing board and iron, games, PlayStation, books, tea, sugar and coffee, Hair dryer Even down to shampoo and conditioner. We didn’t have a dog but you wouldn’t even notice you allow dog in has it’s that clean and smells lovely. We will definitely be back and recommending it to anyone that’s wanting a holiday. Also came with stunning views of the sea and sun rise it was beautiful I’d love to wake up to that any day. Thank you for having us and we will see you again soon.

Just had a fantastic weekend. The caravan is beautiful, so clean and lots of extras like tea and coffee, tea towel and toilet roll. Fabulous view of the sunrise over the sea from the decking. Kids loved the board games and PlayStation. Very well equipped with everything u need. Carol couldn’t be more helpful. Fantastic that me and my sister could hire both vans next door to each other. We will definitely be back!

Had a fabulous long weekend in this lovely caravan. We had everything we needed including full size cooker, microwave, toaster etc. Comfy beds and felt like a home from home. We were a family of Grandparents and teenage granddaughter. Plenty to do on the site and stunning scenery. Will definitely be back.
